FAQs
Water flow may be restricted due to hose kinks, leaks or blockage. If your nozzle has even a little bit of dirt in the tip, it may cause an obstruction for the pressure to surge/pulsate.
If these have been checked and your washer is still Surging, there may be a concern with your pump.
After leaving your pressure washer to run for a long period of time, without pulling the trigger, the water stays in the pump, the water will continue to heat up and will melt your seals. The pump will continue to heat up and once you pull the trigger, you’ll be having cold water enter a very hot pump which can cause cavitation. It’s always best to turn your pressure washers off when not in use.
Nozzles that are not sized properly will not perform. All nozzles should be sized to the washers’ PSI and GPM requirements. With a smaller nozzle, it will restrict your water flow and if it’s too large, it will lower your PSI.
If you happen to upgrade your pump, you will need to resize your Nozzles to ensure you have the correct requirements to safely use your pressure washer.
